After many meets and months of hard work, the cross-country team placed fifth in the Nov. 4 SPC Championship meet to finish its season after having previously won the North Zone meet in October. The meet took place in Fort Worth and consisted of a 5000-meter (5K) race. 10 Marksmen competed, with the fastest being senior Raja Mehendale, who came in 10th with a time of 16:49.90. The team’s result represents the culmination of the team’s efforts—not just during the season, but also during summer practices and beyond.
