Sophomore Tony Lu works on a difficult math problem.
The math team is planning to compete in the prestigious Harvard-MIT Mathematics Tournament (HMMT), which will be hosted at MIT this year. The HMMT February competition is an extremely competitive event that sees competition between some of the strongest mathematics teams in the world. The competition will take place Feb. 17. The math team will be sending eight students to compete:
