Reed Sussman – Soccer – Haverford
Q: What do you look forward to next year?
A: I’m extremely excited to continue my soccer career. I’ve been extremely passionate about soccer since I was a tiny kid, and I’m eager to keep developing as a player and grow into a role where I can help the team succeed. I visited one of their practices last year, and the team culture is very strong and it’s a great group of guys. Aside from soccer, I am looking forward to making new friends, having more independence, and trying to be present in the moment.
Bobby Strauss – Track and Field – Southwestern
Q: Why did you choose that school?
A: I chose southwestern because I was able to do track for the school and it had a good kinesiology program that would set me up well for my future career.
Lucas Blumenthal – Football – Washington University in St. Louis
Q: What did you do to get recruited?
A: I had a unique recruiting experience just because of how new I am to this sport, but staying open minded to any coach reaching out to me served me well. Social media plays a big part in recruiting and allows coaches and players to get in contact so easily, so building and maintaining relationships with those coaches also helped me in the recruiting process.
Raja Mehendale – Cross Country and Track and Field – Washington and Lee University
Q: What do you look forward to next year?
A: I look forward to donning the new jersey and doing everything in my power to push the team towards success. Washington and Lee has a top 30 cross country program in the nation. I will be adding strength to an already very talented roster so it is important to help pick up points or push teammates forward wherever I can.
