The junior class hosted McDonald’s Week from Nov. 16 to Nov. 21. This year’s theme was McLego, with inspiration coming from the popular “The Lego Movie” and Lego toy bricks. Events included a car wash, a mini-hoop basketball tournament, a building competition, a ping pong exhibition, a science show and dinner events held at various restaurants. All-Day Day, when students can go to the Preston Hollow McDonald’s during the school day, was held Tuesday, Nov.19. A portion of all proceeds go to Austin Street Center, one of Dallas’s largest homeless shelters.
