The junior class hosted the annual McDonald’s Week event from Nov. 16 to Nov. 21. This year’s theme was McLego, with inspiration coming from the popular movie: “The Lego Movie”. Events included a car wash, a mini-hoop basketball tournament, a building competition, a ping pong exhibition, a science show and dinner events held at various restaurants. All-Day Day, when students can go to the local McDonald’s during the school day, was held Tuesday, Nov.19. All of the proceeds from the event go to Austin Street Center, one of Dallas’s largest homeless shelters.
