The Lions lacrosse team traveled down to Houston this past weekend to take on Kinkaid and Houston Christian to continue their undefeated season. The Lions ended up prevailing in both games, defeating Kincaid 5 – 3 and Houston Christian 13 – 5 and continuing their undefeated season. On Tuesday, they faced Rockwall and won again, improving to 5 – 0 on the season. The Lions track team had their second meet of the season yesterday at home, where junior Brady Wyatt won shotput, senior Noah Roby and sophomore Harman Pope took first and third respectively in the 800 with times of 2:00 and 2:05 each, senior Mateu Parker and sophomore Tripp Schoellkopf III took first and second respectively in the 400, and senior Noah Roby won the 1600 with a time of 4:36. The track team looks to continue their dominance on Saturday, March 8, at the Fort Worth Country Day Invitational.
