Students listen to a presentation from Mr. Drew Dutton
On March 31, Upper School Marksmen heard from Mr. Drew Dutton, an expert on the neuroscience of addiction, to kick of Mental Health Week. He spoke to Marksmen about the internal and external effects of addiction and the chemical processes behind addiction, particularly focusing on the addiction of sports betting and gambling. There are daily activities scheduled for the rest of week, including a tug-of-war tournament tomorrow, a chapel prayer on Wednesday, games at lunch and a roundtable afterschool on Thursday, and mental health shirt day on Friday, where students can wear the mental health T-shirts during the school day.
