Every year, the Annual Dallas Young Artists Competition hosts artists from across the DFW metroplex to increase appreciation for high school artists from a wide range of artistic backgrounds through a public exhibition at the Blue Print Gallery.
In its seventh yearly exhibition, six students from the Advanced Drawing and Painting class—Beau Bacon ‘26, Riggs Bean ‘26, Carson Bosita ‘25, Aiden Moran ‘25, Oliver Perez ‘26, and Hale Peterson ‘25 were selected to showcase their work. Senior Hale Peterson earned second place with his painting Scales.
