After three straight nights of below-freezing temperatures in the DFW area, multiple highways and school districts, including St. Mark’s, have completely shut down for the time being. There have been over two inches of snow in the Highland Park area, and according to The Dallas Morning News, these have been some of the coldest nights in history. There have also been reports of over forty car crashes and more than nine hundred canceled flights. As of Jan. 25, the schools that have canceled classes for Jan. 26 include Greenhill, Jesuit, ESD, Highland Park and St. Mark’s.
