The Lion’s Swim team completed the monumental task of achieving three SPC championships in a row, adding their third this year to mark the end of a great season. Three separate school records were broken during the championship meet, with junior Ethan Wang breaking the 200 meter individual medley (IM) record and 100 meter butterfly record, and senior George Hoverman breaking the 100 meter breaststroke record.
The Lion’s Basketball team played an extremely close game against Greenhill in the semi-finals, with the game coming down to the final seconds. The Lions kept the game very competitive all game and unfortunately it did not fall their way in the end. The Basketball team will fight for third place tomorrow for the last game of the season.
The Lion’s Soccer team also played an incredibly close semi-final match against Greenhill, with the outcome decided in penalty kicks. Unfortunately, the Lions fell just short in penalty kicks, 6 to 5, and Greenhill advanced.
