Q: What made you want to commit to playing football at Claremont McKenna?
Baker Long: I felt like out of all of the schools I could have gone to, the academic programs stood out. The environment of the school was unique and the best for me.
Q: What are you most looking forward to at Claremont McKenna?
Baker Long: I think the fact that it’s in California and has good weather is nice. Obviously, the football aspect of it will be great. Playing the sport I love for four more years is amazing.
Q: What advice do you have for people trying to get athletic scholarships?
Baker Long: Something that really helped me is my grades. If you have good grades and test scores, it opens up many options at the division-three level. Also, start the process earlier in high school. If you have film after your junior year, then go for it. For me, getting the college process done early is really nice.
