On Feb. 28, the St. Mark’s varsity tennis team played their first official match in the Albert G. Hill, Sr. Tennis Center. The Lions lost 1-4 against St. Stephens in a well-fought loss, with only Freshman Bryan Li winning his singles match in three sets. The team has already faced off against Parish in a scrimmage and St. Andrews in a counter match, sweeping both teams. They are looking forward to playing John Cooper in another scrimmage on Mar. 8 before heading into spring break.
