Post-Lunch Playoffs Update
After six playoff rounds, St. Mark’s C-team finished in 7th place. St. Mark’s A will play Early College at Guilford in the quarterfinals, and the winner of that match will play St. Mark’s B in the semifinals.

The St. Mark’s Quiz Bowl team is competing at the Small School National Championship Tournament (SSNCT) in Chicago from April 25 to 26. The three St. Mark’s teams were sorted into separate pots of 11 teams, and each team played 10 games to determine seeding for the playoffs on Sunday. The A-team, consisting of senior Andy Li, junior Tony Lu, sophomore John Paul Hanks and 8th-grader Kamran Nawaz finished 2nd place in the standings, with a 10-0 record. Similarly, the B-team, consisting of senior Kevin Hong, juniors Rishik Kapoor and Christopher Huang and 8th-grader Ritam Setu finished in 3rd place, also with a 10-0 record. Finally, the C-team, consisting of sophomores Sebastian Garcia-Toledo and Will Behnke and freshmen Brennan Bosita and James Weselka finished in 12th place, with an 8-2 record. Individually, Lu and Setu lead all St. Mark’s players in points per game.
